Why We Started
We are two parents, Darshana in Miami and Prabhu in San Jose, and we started MulmulBaby in 2024. When Darshana went looking for clothing for her daughter, what she found in the US was either confusing to shop for or priced beyond what most families could manage. Prabhu, who has spent his career in supply chains, knew India had been weaving fine muslin for centuries. MulmulBaby was the decision to put those two things together.
Our promise is simple: we tell you exactly what a garment is made of, and we don't claim what we can't prove. We don't hold an organic certificate, and we won't say we do. What we do have is mulmul muslin, woven in India, one fiber, never a blend.

People We Know Personally
We work closely with our manufacturing partners in India. Our muslin is woven there, and our knitted cotton hoodie sets are made in Tirupur.
We visit them regularly and build strong personal relationships with the owners.
One Fiber, Never a Blend
We use two fabrics, knitted cotton and mulmul muslin, and both are 100% cotton. No polyester, nylon, acrylic or rayon is blended in, so you always know exactly what is touching your baby's skin.
